Elite Rep Prep Camp

for ages 10-16

Run by Gad Perlmutter, This half day camp is where good players become great, teaching them unique and informative skills in a fun environment. Understanding basketball is much more than just shooting, while at camp participants work on team concepts in regards to movement, game situation, decision making, and one-on-one moves

• Rebounding
• Defense
• Footwork

Kids must bring their own ball.

Gad Perlmutter - Gad is an award winning coach with over 20 years of experience complemented by a successful career as a high school and college player. With demonstrated ability to teach young people the fundamentals of the game of basketball showing them the value of hard work and perseverance. Gad has earned numerous athletic accolades as a player at George Brown College (MVP 1994) and Ontario Basketball’s Rep Coach of the Year (2011). He has a proven ability to direct, motivate and inspire individual and team excellence.

As YNBA’s JUEL coach, and former ’99 Girls Division 1 Head Coach, his team has consistently won Division One Gold Medals at the Ontario Provincial Championships for  four (4) years (2014-2017). Recently his U19 Girls won the Provincial Championship for the 2021/22 season.  Gad also volunteered as Head Coach for Newmarket High School, winning four (4) consecutive York Region Championship titles heading to AAA OFFSA (2014-2017).

As an Assistant Coach with the Vaughan Panther Boys team, he led their team to 6 consecutive Division One Gold Medals (2008-2012) at the Ontario Provincial Championship. Gad is a proud Ambassador for the OBA Elite training programs and its member athletes. He has led key Ontario Basketball development programs such as CP, TIDP, RTC & MDP Currently Gad is YNBA’s Technical coach for all our Rep teams and runs our Basketball Skills Training Clinic.
