Gad is an award winning coach with over 20 years of experience complemented by a successful career as a high school and college player. Currently he is YNBA’s JUEL team Head Coach, and Technical coach for all our Rep teams. As York North Basketball Association’s ’99 Girls Division 1 Head Coach, his team has consistently won Division One Gold Medals at the Ontario Provincial Championships for four (4) years (2014-2017). Gad has earned numerous athletic accolades as a player at George Brown College (MVP 1994) and Ontario Basketball’s Rep Coach of the Year (2011). Gad also volunteered as Head Coach for Newmarket High School, winning four (4) consecutive York Region Championship titles heading to AAA OFFSA (2014-2017). As an Assistant Coach with the Vaughan Panther Boys team, he led their team to 6 consecutive Division One Gold Medals (2008-2012) at the Ontario Provincial Championship.
